Why is Fentons ice cream famous?
Fenton’s Creamery is known for its handmade ice cream. The creamery’s “world famous” ice cream sundae is the Black & Tan Sundae, filled with toasted almond ice cream and creamy vanilla, layered in between caramel and chocolate fudge sauce. That is all topped with toasted almonds, whipped cream and a cherry.

We stopped by at Fentons Creamery for our first time with our family after hearing and reading great reviews. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience while we were there. To start off, the hostess was super nice and got us a table together for our larger group of 7 and sat us quickly. She then brought us all waters.

It’s so insane how Fentons has been around since the 1890s (1894 to be exact)–that in itself just goes to show how yummy this place is. From the name alone one would expect them to only serve ice cream but that could be further from the truth.
